What is Chinese Astrology?

Chinese Astrology is one of the most ancient and accurate forms of Astrology in the world. It dates back to 5000 years ago, when Chinese Astrology was primarily used by the emperors for their long life, the prosperity of the kingdom and war strategy making. Chinese Astrology is based on the planetary positions in our Solar System, particularly the planet Jupiter, which is also known as the ‘Tai Sui or Grand Duke’, has the most influence on our personal Qi (Chi) and the Qi (Chi) inside our house. What is Bazi/ Four Pillars of Destiny?

Bazi means Eight Characters (“Ba” means Eight and “Zi” means Characters). The Bazi Astrology Framework is based on the ten Heavenly Stems and twelve Earthly Branches, which are also known as the Animal Zodiac Signs. These Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches form sixty different Pillars.

Depending on our Date and Time of Birth we have four Natal Pillars in our Bazi Astrology Chart. Now, each Year, Month, Day and Time are individually associated with one of the sixty Pillars. Using the Bazi Astrology Framework we can forecast opportunities and pitfalls one is going to face in the upcoming months and years, depending on the interaction among one’s Natal Pillars, Luck Pillar, and Time (year, month and day).
