My name is Dibyendu Palai, but most people call me Diby, and you’re welcome to do the same. By profession, I am an engineer—an analytical mind trained in logic and precision. I hold a master's degree in engineering and technology and work as a Lead Automotive Engineer in Systems Engineering at a leading British motor company. But my heart has always been drawn to something beyond equations and machinery—something older, deeper, and beautifully intricate: the mathematical essence of the universe itself.

Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by numbers. Mathematics, with its patterns and precision, was my first love. My father, a government employee with a scientific background, shared a similar passion—but his numbers took a different form. He delved into Indian Astrology, skillfully performing complex calculations not as a profession, but as a passion. I remember watching him decode celestial patterns, predicting life events with striking accuracy. He often told me, "Astrology is not just belief; it is mathematics at play." Those words lingered in my mind, though, at the time, I didn’t fully grasp their significance.

As life moved forward, academic and career pursuits took precedence, and Astrology faded into the background. It wasn’t until 2018, when I was on the verge of buying my first home, that the universe seemed to call me back to it. Faced with multiple choices and no clear direction, I turned to my father for guidance. He suggested looking into Vastu Shastra to determine the most favorable house. As I researched Vastu, I stumbled upon Feng Shui—a discovery that would change my life.

Feng Shui was fascinating but also complex, with its many schools of thought. Some were simple, others intricate, and there was no single path to certainty. My analytical mind craved deeper understanding, and so I immersed myself in learning, peeling back layers of this ancient practice to uncover its mathematical and energetic foundations. It felt as though my lifelong love for numbers had found its true purpose.

Then, in 2020, my world shifted.

I lost my father to cancer just as the world was plunging into the isolation of the pandemic. The grief was immense, and the silence of lockdown deepened the void he left behind. It was during this time of sorrow that I made a decision—I would make Feng Shui and Astrology an integral part of my life. Not just as a study, but as a connection. A way to keep my father close, to continue the passion he had nurtured in me since childhood.

I sought solace in learning, diving into books, attending webinars, and eventually enrolling in a professional course on Classical Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology at the Feng Shui Institute, UK. Learning became my refuge, my way of healing. And then, another idea took shape—one that felt like destiny.

In 2021, I launched Infinite Mind Feng Shui, a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing my knowledge with others who, like me, seek wisdom in these ancient sciences. The name was a gift from my wife, who beautifully articulated its meaning. She reminded me that all energy, all matter, belongs to the domain of the Supreme Power—what some call the universe, others call God—an infinite intelligence that flows through everything. This channel is our way of expressing gratitude to that force.

What began as a journey of curiosity has now become my life’s purpose. Through Infinite Mind Feng Shui, I hope to bridge the gap between logic and intuition, numbers and energy, past and present. My goal is to make this knowledge accessible so that others, too, can find clarity, balance, and perhaps, a deeper connection to something greater than themselves.

My journey of learning is far from over. Every new insight adds another piece to the ever-evolving puzzle of the universe, and I am eager to continue exploring.

By nature, I am an introvert—quiet in most conversations, but passionate when it comes to discussing Feng Shui and Astrology.
